Vanes won't stick!

dangerousD, how did the AAE Max Bond turn out? I am just looking to try something new and thought about the AAE Max Hunter vanes.

Ah, yes I should have replied sooner. The AAE Max Bond worked perfectly! Vanes are holding tight and I think I'd rip the wrap before the vanes come loose. Good stuff! I really like these vanes too! I think they are easier to work with than Blazers and I can put a helical on them easier, IMO.

My only conclusion that I can draw from this is that the plastic compound used for these Max Hunter vanes is such that it doesn't work well with other commonly used cyanoacrylate glues like Gorilla and Loctite that simply say they are cyanoacrylate, whereas the Max Bond says cyanoacrylate ester and from one article I read is better formulated for plastics, if I'm not mistaken.

The AAE Max Bond worked perfectly!

I've actually taken pliers to my Quickspins and tried to pull them off. The vanes tore but the glue held.
