i am assuming he made them this way for the weights he wanted and to me makes since. I have everything on order except the BH's themselves. any pros and cons to the short jag 180 solid vs the jagger 180 vented? I don't care about the solid or vented aspect, i get it has to do with weight, but more or less about the blade angles ad profile of the two.

The short Jags are more durable and less prone to tip bending. Probably a little better flight as well. Really it's personal preference.

Short Solids are quieter, likely fly better out of a compound and won’t bend as easily up front. With that said I have bent the tips on almost all my short jags after they go into the ground. But with the sharpening wheels it’s an easy fix. The regular jaggers will penetrate better.

I am shooting the Valkyrie Blood Eagles same concept as the Jags. I prefer to Blood Eagle 175 grain solid over the 150 grain vented. I think the solids fly better and are more durable like stated before from the other posters. I have not bent the tips on any of the Blood Eagles 175 grain or the 150 grain. I am only pulling 50 pounds out of my compound
