I had my Food Saver V2220 vac sealer for a long time. It does a good job but it also needs a little maintenance occasionally.
I’ve done an elk and two deer with it this fall, along with everyday kitchen use.
I’ve found when it doesn’t want to vacuum like it should, I remove the foam seals and soak them in hot soapy water and clean them.
Then re-install.
Works like new again.
It’s also a good idea to have replacement seals on hand too.
