I’m taking my Dad up into the Uintas North slope for an archery tag in a few days.
We’ve hunted that unit for over 5 years, but have always hunted within a certain part of it, that certain part of it is currently closed due to the fire.
We have spent a little bit of time east of the closure, but never really hunted it that much. I’ve already started scouting and looking at potential areas, assuming that the closure will last through our hunt.
If anyone out there has been in that area, is willing to look at where I am planning on going and give me their insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Either way we have a plan, and it will be fun to check out new areas, but considering he is 77 years old, it would be nice to have a little bit of insight to try and find some cool country.
