I think you're correct. This is the typical "party line" by the department. I'm still hopeful for today or tomorrow.

It seems like emailing before hitting the credit cards would create more work for DWR if applicants can’t ultimately pay for the tag. With the application being later, I’m mentally prepared for the drawing process to be messed up this year. I hope that random person isn’t right for all of our sakes. The suspense is killing me!

Seems like a long time if you can’t update your credit card information at this point. Hell Arizona gives you atleast 8hr prior hits to do so and their system sucks. If not tomorrow that post will probably hold true. Fun to be excited for disappointment

There is a lot more that goes into the draw than just drawing names. There is an extensive audit process that has to take place to identify and clarify any duplicate or fraudulent applications.
