Its Christmas, give it time. Have the seller ping USPS to trace the package if it has been a while.

When I was sewing I shipped alot of packages USPS over the years and I think once they lost something into the ether and that was it, luckily it was something I made so I could just make a replacement and send it out.

My biggest eyeroll was I shipped something to the address a buyer provided me, turns out they gave me the wrong address, it was a real address and the package was delivered to it but it wasn't their address. The buyer felt it was up to me to replace the items and pay shipping again because they didn't receive what they bought despite it being delivered to the address they provided. As a cost of doing business I did it but didn't think very highly of the person putting their mistake onto me.

Does the tracking number show it moving through the network? Or is it just sitting at the last scan location without moving? Most distribution centers this time of year are so backed up, a package will sit there for a week or two with no scan update.

Just sitting with no shown movement. Thanks everyone foe weighing in. I placed the orders for these items in early December hoping they’d be here for Christmas. I don’t care that they’re a few days late as long as I get them. I’m feeling a little better seeing that many of you have had this same thing happen with USPS, but usually did get your packages albeit late. Thanks.

what is the expected arrival date?\\

USPS has been surprisingly good for me. items that used to take 4-6 weeks on parcel post on a barge now taking 2-3 weeks. got everything already in time for Xmas.

I just shipped a bow from CA the MS. 10 days for delivery. I sent it priority.

Tracking showed it sat in San Bernardino for 7 days “moving through the network “ before it showed any movement at all

I think you can completely disregard the “should arrive by” crap. I just sent a bow from KS to PA and I’m pretty sure I could have walked it there quicker. Never again.

Wife and I have had great experiences with USPS; have had dozens of items shipped to us. Tracking is entertaining; we've had items get to Boise and then get sent hundreds of miles away, only to return a few days later. Or, so they say - not sure how accurate the tracking system is. Everything has eventually arrived.

As others have stated. It’s the busy season for shipping anything.
I have experienced everything that you mentioned even when it wasn’t the holidays… no tracking updates, package sitting at a location/ hub for a week/s, package travels across country only to come back later.
I would give it a little more time.

On the tracking page there is a place you can submit a missing mail search. You will have to create a username & password. Everytime I have done this with stalled mail, it gets moving again. I had a scope from SWFA shipped 2 Dec. It sat in Dallas for 10 day. It started moving the day after I filed a missing mail search.

We get double duty. FEDEX goes to the postal distribution center in Anchorage and then gets distilled out from there. Of course when we ask a vendor to use the mail to start with, and we explain the situation, they automatically assume we don’t know what we are talking about. lol.

I've been waiting on a bow for my son since it was shipped 12/3 from Washington. It's finally in my state after being waylaid in the USPS ether. I put in the missing mail inquiry after 14 days of no updates on the website and then it popped back on the USPS radar the following day in Indiana. Good luck.
