Using a Muzzle Brake vs not for Magnums

A little late to this, but in my 300 rsaum, the recoil isn't too stiff without my muzzle brake, personally if your gun is too much any gains in shooting a big magnum i.e. better ballistics will quickly be nil because you will develop a flinch of some kind. That being said what the reduction in recoil achieves with the brake is making it easier to remain on target after the shot, which can be invaluable for follow up shots.
