WTB Used 308 or 30-06

Ideally <$750, will spend more for something already wearing a nice wood stock. I’m limiting to 308/30-06 because I don’t reload. The top 3 apple of my eye rifles are Kimber Classic, CZ 557 American, and Win70 FWT.

Otherwise I would like something lightweight, as I will restock in a heavier (maple) stock.

I have a Savage 116 FCSS 30-06 with a Ferrell 20 moa base that sits in the safe due to I choose my custom 300wm over all others. It was my go too before the 300 though. VERY confident out to 400yrds with factory Federal Ammo..PM me if a Savage works for you.

I have a kimber hunter in 308 I’d consider selling. Stock is painted and have shells to go with it.

Also scoped with a nice luepold I’d add in if price is right.

I’m not 100% against stainless, but I really prefer light wood (likely going to get a maple stock) and matte/blued/cerakoted metal. I do really like the dark wood/stainless look too, so could certainly change my mind.

If the price is right I’m interested in any of these options. With the Savage I would probably say yes if it were a 308 - as I already have a really nice short action walnut LWH stock.

I have a s2 weatherby vanguard 30-06, only 10 rounds down the barrel, have a 3-9x40 leupold american marksman on top in 1 piece talley’s.

Also have 30 rounds of ammo that could go with it.

Not looking for anything with a Varmint barrel, and while I won’t rule out a Remington it’s most likely going to be a pass unless it’s a great bargain.
