Urgent Digiscope Help Needed

First of all, I know this probably belongs in the Digiscope forum, but, I need some expedious help so I figured this would be seen by the most people in the general forum. Here is my dilemma.

In two days I leave for three months of non stop hunting. I want to take some awesome pictures during this great adventure, but the one thing I am lacking is an adapter for digiscoping, and time is a little short to be ordering one from the lower 48. So, my question is, does anybody have any simple plans or directions for putting together a homemade Digiscope adapter? Some simple step by step instructions, and/or things I should be looking for would be great.

I am working with a Sony rx100m3, along with a Swarovski STM 80 HD. I have done hours worth or searching on this and various other forums, but cant seem to find any simple plans for a non technical person such as myself.

Any help would be greatly, and I mean greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I have the same camera but a different spotter. I went to the hardware store and made one out of PVC fittings. The only trick is to get the lens of the camera while at full telephoto as close as possible to the spotter lens without the two touching. It took a few minutes to find the pvc fittings that were a close enough match. They were a little larger diameter. I just took some sticky back crafts felt and lined the inside till I got a firm fit on the lens and the spotter. I will find some pics.

So basically, I know nothing.

How and what is the best way to attach the camera to the pvc pipe?

How and what is the best way to attach the pvc pipe to the scope?

I literally know nothing about this, but if you guys can hook a brother up, I will pay back rockslide with many kick ass pictures of Alaskan critters after this upcoming hunting season.

The pvc stepdown fitting is press on tight to the eye piece. Find one that is close to tight fitting and either add felt or foam strips to make it snug.

It is all friction fit. The trick is to find fittings that are just a little larger than you need. Mine also fits my Binos. The Sony rx100m3 is a great camera for Digiscoping . My fittings are the black pvc ones. One was a step down fitting and the other was a coupler that matched the small end of the step down fitting. I just used PVC cement to glue them together. The only modification was to sand out the ridge in the middle of the coupler and then cut it down to the right length to get the camera lens set at telephoto as close as possible to the rear scope objective. Then just added felt strips to the inside of the pvc adapter till I got a snug fit to the camera and the scope. It just so happens it fit my 8x42 binos so that was a plus. I believe everything was under $6

Another way to snug up your home made or store bought adaptor to your camera or spotter is to pick up an o-ring kit from an auto parts store and try different sizes till you find the one that works best. I slip an extra o-ring onto the center post of my tripod for a spare.
