LS Wild is expanding the inventory in our store, to include items that I know are in demand. That obviously includes Tikka Prefit barrels. I just spoke with Marshall at Preferred Barrel. He is running .223 cal starting the next few days. I will catch this production so barrels will be coming as fast as possible from Preferred. I will ship barrels in the order and as soon as they arrive from Preferred. Lead time will be Preferred's plus a couple days for us to process and then ship to you.

I started shooting only Preferred, and their quality is second to none. Their pricing is their advertising budget--to your benefit as shooters.

LS Wild is buying a run of SHOULDERED Tikka prefit in 22 Creedmoor and .223 Wylde. Rokslide has spoken, so you can see the variations below. I guessed less than $525 for a shouldered barrel, including shipping when I started the possibility of a "group buy." I am delivering for $515 shipped or a one time shot at $495.

THE LINK TO BUY IS NOW LIVE CLICK HERE

This special purchase link will be hidden on our site, so the only way someone finds it will be in this thread.

This is how it will work. First off, I am buying inventory to stock on our website--not do a group buy. But, Rokslide has been good to us so we want to be good to Rokslide. And, you all were my "focus group" to choose the right barrels. So, THANKS! You have our appreciation and discount.

If you buy BEFORE Wednesday February 5 at 11:59 pm, you will get the barrel shipped to you for $495 threaded/$450 no threads. Your barrel will essentially be added to my order for the store. I have to get numbers to Marshall first thing Thursday morning, so I need time to add those barrels to my own order. Sorry for the short timeline, but you snooze you lose on that smoking deal. I expect no limit to the number you can buy here. IF YOU VOTED AND YOU BUY a barrel at this price, please change your vote in the poll, that would help.

If you are reading this AFTER Wednesday Feb 5, I will have ordered extra barrels at the discount based loosely on the numbers from the poll in the other thread. Those will sell shipped to you for $515 threaded/$470 no thread. I will set a fixed number for barrels at this price. Hopefully I get the number right to include some lurkers and weekend Roksliders.

Besides the two offers above, I will be buying barrels to stock in our retail store when they arrive.

They are stainless steel matte finish.

Variations of 22 Creedmoor .219 SAAMI bore will include:

16" 7.5 twist, SAAMI throat, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
16" 7.5 twist, .120 freebore throat, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
18" 7.5 twist, SAAMI throat, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
18" 7.5 twist, .120 freebore throat, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
20" 7.5 twist, .120 freebore throat, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
20" 7.5 twist, SAAMI throat, Lite contour NO muzzle thread (-$45)

Variations of .223 Wylde will include:

16" 7.5 twist, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8x24
18" 7.5 twist, Lite contour with 1/2 x 28
18" 7.5 twist, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8x24
20" 7.5 twist, Hybrid Lite contour with 5/8 x 24
20" 7.5 twist, Lite contour NO muzzle threads (-$45)
Tell me about the rifling? How is it cut and how many grooves.

Also a weight estimate would be nice.

Thanks.

5R rifling, button barrel, Hybrid Lite specs show 45.5 oz for 24" 6mm barrel.

Here is the link to the Tikka Hybrid Lite specs.

I'm vacillating between a 16" thermal rig or a 20" range toy. I have 18" covered...but its probably most practical to just go ahead and order the replacement for that one now.

I was ready to place an order until I realized there is no 20" 22 Creed threaded SAAMI throat threaded option.

Probably because that’s in the minority of things people want. I would think if you had a 20” tube you’d be even more inclined to throat for 88 eld and smk.

I used to go back and forth on barrel length a lot more. I default to buy an 18” in everything now. That’s what my 22 creed will be. And at the range, not gonna feel bad I don’t have the extra 50 fps the 2 inches give me.

I want to mainly shoot the 75s and maybe lighter bullets. I do have a bunch of 88s, just not sure if the lighter bullets would shoot in the .120 freebore.

All my reading says it shouldn’t be an issue to jump smaller bullets. But, the throat does a little better with longer bullets. I am never worried about jump and have never measured it except to keep from jamming bullets so I never accidentally get a bullet stck in a bore unloading.

@Lawnboi can you confirm experience with light bullets in the .120?

Mine is a .100. Hair short the the 88s imo. With 80s my bullet is still deeper than ideal (bottom of the beating surface is below the neck shoulder junction)

.120 should work with 62eldvt/75 eldm up to 88s. I would not want to go shorter than .100

For those wanting to shoot the 77 tmk, they have a long bearing surface and need the longer throat.

If I was buying one I’d be trying 80eldx first followed by the 88 and 75.

80eldx and 77tmk at creedmoor velocities make a mess.

@Hnthrdr this is the throat explanation
