Upgrade from Exodus to Iron Will??

For my part, I like having good sharp blades and don't see it as a chore to sharpen my knife or broadheads. It's only a couple shots a year if we're lucky. What irks me more is crappy steel that won't hold an edge or bad design that doesn't fly well. I've been through a lot of broadheads but now pretty much just buy IW. I'm excited to put some 150 single bevels into some hogs in a few weeks.

I'm trying to understand how you upgrade from dead.

If you just want to try something different, I get it. I gave IW a try. Same with single bevel heads. I just keep putting a Magnus head on my arrows and I've damaged a few that were replaced quickly with no questions.

I use the iron will SB100 left bevel for the last 3 years and the work great tune easy I also had great blood trails with them but almost every deer I’ve shot there was no need to trail as they died in sight. Just depends where u hit them..I also used the qad and they are great heads as well still have one in the quiver as a follow up shot so I don’t have to sharpen 2 heads lol. I didn’t have to change anything going from qad to iron will most times a good tuned bow will shoot almost any head the same…

I’m having the same debate right now with myself about BH selection this year. I used the QAD last year for the cold bow challenge, felt like I had everything tuned up good but honestly didn’t shoot all that well during the CBC. Towards the end of summer as I was shooting a lot and practicing with broadheads a lot, I must’ve developed some bad grip habits, cause I would get the occasional POI-right by 1-2” at 20 yds and further out; that ended up becoming consistent and I totally lost confidence going into elk season. Ended up using my remaining IW 125SB. I’ve lost a few too, which hurts when they’re so spendy.

TL;DR — debating sticking with QAD Exodus or go back to IW 125SB. Like the blood trail of the QAD, but dislike the cost of the IW. The Iron Will just flies really really well with my field points hard to ignore that
