Hey Rokslide! Our newest suppressor, The Reaper, is here!

Just like all our other cans, it is 10% off right now. We'll hold it until 1/1/26 for you if you'd like to save $200 on your tax stamp.

The Reaper comes with 30 cal or 6.5 mm end cap, side port brake available separately through @Salmon River Solutions.
We're looking at 127 DB, 8.8 ounces, 6" x 1.8" diameter, 30 CAL, HUB threaded, no reflex, and sweet topo texture.

You can pick one up using the following special link:

Thank you again for all your support!

Will you guys run sound tests with shorter barrels in 6.5, 6, and 22 calibers? Seems like most people here, at least the most vocal, shoot short barrels and small calibers.

It’s been done on every can, and every iteration. It is not a dramatic difference from the standard 20” 308 M118LR sound. 22cal adds 1-3 dBA, 6 and 6.5mm are in the middle.

What Form said...

The amount of shooting we've done with cans... is very very extensive.

At some point Cliff should get all of the prototypes together and take a photo, his office is full of them.

And we shoot various calibers, barrel lengths etc.

I hate on my homies more than anyone else….

But Cliff, Ken, Ryan, etc. are experimenting and testing cans like everyone thinks that companies do, yet almost none actually do.

So far the US cans being offered are in my experience and view, the best in that class for what they were designed for- not because they said they are, but because they are iterating and testing every conceivable variation until they are the best overall combination.

Is the Reaper going to be the most sound reduction focused can in the near term line up or will there be one that puts that first and foremost over weight and size still to come?

Define “near term”.
There are quieter cans already prototyped, but they generally will come at a length and weight penalty.

For my personal interests near term would be in the next 8-12months. I am wanting a can that maximizes sound reduction and recoil reduction EVEN at the cost of weight and length - I would primarily like it for my kids to learn with and for me to enjoy. (Going on a 16” 6CM at this time)

A lighter, shorter and louder can like my current Ultra 5 works well enough for a few hunting shots a year without hearing protection for the time being. Though I expect is perhaps not as ideal as either the OG or Reaper

I’m pushing for them to bring out the 9” long 1.5” diameter can. The first try at it was ridiculously quiet- IIRC something like 124 dBA at ear, and 129 or 130 dB at muzzle.

How can I get one of these? I’m guessing I’d need to get it sent to a dealer? Like a transfer or something?

When you purchase it, you list the name and address for your local transfer (SOT). So I picked my usual store and they shipped it there.

Bring it on.....you won't be able to make them fast enough. Also, you need to push for a deal to partner with Silencershop.

Is there any thought to a combination of the OG and the Reaper? A 6" forward thickie with a 3" or 4" reflex? A little extra weight doesn't scare me but I would like something to round out my 30cal can selection. I have the big donkey AB 10 and I have the smaller titanium cans but something that outperformed the AB 8 in a similar package would be appealing to me.

The AB spoiled me on the reflex style as that was my first can and nothing has really matched that tone after picking up 6 other cans. Looking for something that splits the difference but offers the best suppression and tone possible for the size. Something that I wouldn't mind shooting at the range all day but I wouldn't mind hunting with either.

I also have the AB Raptor 8+3” and the 10+5”. I would have preferred to get a pair of US/UM 6+3 one piece titanium printed cans for my range cans. That’s pure ostentation in terms of numbers of cans, but the reflex cans really do sound better. An OG and a 6+3 would make a lovely pair.
