Is this setup with the srs brake on the end quiet enough to shoot without hearing protection still? I found a great deal on a 300 prc at my local gunstore but cannot commit to buying it because I’m not sure I’ll like the recoil without a brake, and I don’t want to have to wear ear plugs to hunt with a brake.

No, it will not be “hearing safe” with the brake.

EchoZulu Altitude30 would be a solid option… lighter than all 30cal options mentioned so far, HUB mount, extremely good sound and recoil suppression, and very reasonably priced…
