The REAPER from Unknown Suppressors

Any plans for a self-timing option in the future? I have a Reaper and @Salmon River Solutions brake currently and the shims work, I found no issues timing it, but I would have spent a couple more bucks for a self timing option.

We did testing today timing it with an o ring. It worked great, and the brake never slipped. after 25 rounds as fast as I could walk 10' and load a 5 round mag, and shoot them the O ring got hot and pushed out to the side a little. The brake still never slipped.

Sounds like for hunting it’ll work fantastically. If you’re needing to shoot that many hunting you probably need to take up something easier and less manly like fly fishing…

I’m kidding. Couple of my buddies fly fish and I know they’re going to see this. lol I just don’t have the patience even though I live 5 mins from one of the best rivers in the west for it.

Has anyone done any testing to measure recoil reduction on the reaper, reaper with reflex and a reaper with brake and reflex + brake.

Yes i know cans dont reduce much but curious if theres much difference between the reaper and reaper with reflex as i have a reaper on order and waiting for reflex to be available before shipping

I got a cb brake without wrench flats stuck in a tbac can. Threw it in the freezer overnight and was able to break it loose the next day. Good luck.
Thanks, this plus tapping with a rubber mallet did the trick.

The tool that comes with the reaper seems to be a little soft and it’s difficult to get leverage on the mount.

Probably not an issue for most. I plan on testing the reaper SRS brake on my 30-28 today and that barrel is threaded 3/4 x 24.
