Unknown suppressors OG testing

Im talking about the current OG which is a 30 cal.

I'm trying to make as compact as possible 6mm arc setup and would've loved having it over the barrel.

The new OG 6.5 will be a 6.5mm and below reflex suppressor that has 4” of reflex and adds 4” to the barrel length. It goes on sale on September 12.

The Airlock 6.5 is a non-reflex 6.5mm and below suppressor that is 5” long, but only adds 4.375” to the barrel length. It has been on sale for a while, but I believe is currently sold out. I expect some to be back in stock shortly based on DannyB’s comments in the Airlock thread.

The Airlock 6 (6mm and below) and 7 (7mm and below) are coming sometime soon, but I haven't seen an offical release date.

I don’t have a dog in the fight between the two of them. I haven’t used either one. Their respective manufacturers rate them very similarly. I have them highlighted on this spreadsheet.

The numbers your gleaming from the manufacturer only matter if they shot all those cans on your list under the same conditions, with the same host, same ammo and same equipment.

And none of this weight matters. This is Rokslide, we don’t clean anything, in 2 years after 5000 rounds of creedmoor they are all going to be heavy!

Yes, ratings can vary some from day-to-day, but should remain the same relative to each other.

Wherever possible I have put in TBAC suppressor summit numbers instead of manufacturers’ numbers.

But since the TBAC suppressor summit only accepts manufacturers who have been in business for at least a year, neither US/UM or Airlock have been there.

IT IS A 6.5mm CAN.

At no point has anyone stated that it is a 7mm can. ALL US cans are tested or proofed beyond what they are rated for- do you actually think the OG is a 33xc can just because one was proofed through it?
It’s hard to see whether you are constantly trolling, or actually can’t grasp all of this.

The 6.5mm OG is a 6.5mm can. Yes, it is possible if everything is perfect to shoot .277 or 7mm maybe. The 30cal of is also larger than .308- it is possible to shoot a larger bore through it. Not recommended- but possible.
No @Formidilosus, trolling is what you were doing a few days back in the Airlock thread. You know, calling out the owner and calling his product a Scythe 2.0 (among other things) from behind a keyboard without ever laying hands on it? That’s trolling.

What I’m doing is simply asking if there is anything @Unknown Suppressors can do to help out their customers (OG buyers) who are just receiving their cans but would prefer the new “way better” performer/model for their intended use case that dropped immediately after their purchase out of left field. I still haven’t gotten a response from @Unknown Suppressors so I’ll take it as a “no”. No harm, no foul, doesn’t necessarily change my opinion of UM much, and I’ll still likely order the OG 6.5. Just figured I’d ask. Didn’t mean to strike such a nerve.
