NHS is very flat in recoil pulse, but I agree, there is more of a punchy movement in it. I put about 80 rds through one last week mostly prop shooting with a 15# nrl heavy setup.

Interesting. How would you quantify your ability to spot impacts?

Punchy is a good way to describe it. That's how the Magnus-K is with the Recoil-X. Magnus with factory brakes is more a push but not straight back like the X or NHS. The later configurations keep you on target better, though.

Right on, waiting on the atf makes me realize how impatient I can be lol. Looking forward to trying it

I would say punchy as well. I only tested prone and kneeling one bag on the tripod. I’ll test it out a bit more next weekend. It’s nice that it’s lighter and shorter than the scythe. Likely less prone to blow itself up too haha

Nice, lighter, shorter and dedicated to comp shooting is what I was going for. I like to use my scythe on other rifles and swapping the recoil x off and on is annoying
