In our busy lives, sometimes I think that we are quick to post our negative experiences, and slow to post our positive experiences with companies. This is a positive report.

Recently I purchased 200 rounds of .223 from UM. The box arrived via UPS, looking as if it had been kicked like a soccer ball from Idaho to South Carolina. The plastic boxes were busted, and several of the rounds had escaped from a tear in the box. I took a few pics and gave UM a call.

The call was remarkably easy, with zero push back or sign of frustration. All that they asked me to do was email them a couple pictures, and they asked about what type of padding (if any) the plastic boxes had been wrapped in. Their questions seemed geared towards how they could improve their shipping process.

About a week later, a new box arrived with replacement ammo. Overall this was a great experience with UM, when it seems like customer service has become a lost art. I will continue to support UM, and will definitely recommend them to others.

Thanks UM.

They have always replied to my emails the same day when I have questions. I have never had a bad experience.
I have had emails not replied to for days later when I chose not to use them for gunsmith work. Whenever I have called the sales department, they have been really nice and helpful, but they have given me wrong information. Hence the reason why I didn’t have the gunsmith work done. Probably just depends on who the person is and what day you call them. I know we all have bad days and we all make mistakes.

I was a bit frustrated about the fact that I asked at the hunt expo if it was possible to make pieces for the reaper suppressor where the end cap goes to add more baffle sections that could thread in if a person wanted more suppression or removed if a person wanted less length and weight. They informed me that it is completely impossible to have that and removable baffles wouldn’t legally be allowed as each section is now an nfa item. A few months later and they partner with Scoute to do that exact thing… Kinda odd how an idea is completely impossible and now has been made and tested…

I've had nothing but good experiences with them as well, they've helped me out multiple times. Didn't charge me for next day shipping when it was my issue to deal with, asked if I could purchase replacement or extra parts and they send them for free. Usually quick to respond to emails, and pleasant on the phone. +1 for good customer service!
