UM Tikka Rings vs….

But.. for hunting, isn't everything over the minimum fps required to reliably expand kinda useless too? Meaning, if my scope dials beyond that without a 40 moa rail, what's the benefit of a rail?
Long distance practice is fun. We practice often past the effective killing distance of our rifles.

About the UM rings...They are awesome. Bulletproof. You can't understand it until you put them in your hands. Downsides are cost and weight. That's pretty much it.

WWFD….What Would Form Do?

Since I can’t really glue these on like a base, how do I get a good mount? Spread glue on the action rail or just mount like normal and locktite the cross bolts and ring bolts?

Use the recoil pins. Paint pen or nail polish on the screws threads in place of loctite. Good to go.

UM Tikka rings? Don't need no glue. Put the recoil pins in where needed, tighten them to spec, smear screws with nail polish in whatever color makes you happy :)

They look really nice, but I haven’t been able to come up with a reason to spend money to gain ounces and raise my scope, even if it is minuscule. Part of me wishes the sports match would give me a reason to switch.

Would you guys recommend the lows or mediums to mount an rs1.2?

Lows will work with factory lite barrel contour. If you’re going heavier barrel, go with medium.
