I have been patient, kind and respectful in all of my communications. Crap happens i get that. I know UM turns out great products I own a few. However this was the first time directly with UM (and Rokstock at about the same time).

My Mickey Mouse comment wasn't the facility, it felt like production had changed and people started using parts bins to build rings to not lose profit. I see now thats not what happened. As you said , you agreed 100% to make things right. Which I appreciate and is great customer service. It was just not a great first experience all around i guess. Sounds like the issues have been fixed. Maybe I appeared more annoyed about the situation than I was, its hard to gauge people's attitudes online. To be clear I will continue to do business with UM. I was only trying to share my experience on a thread I didnt start. I saw someone else did which opened the opportunity. I will always share both positives and negatives. Again thank you Jake for the prompt response on a Sunday morning and a quick resolution.

What does centered mean?

Centered may not be the correct term.

Depending on which way the screws are positioned on the action (left or right side), they are offset. Albeit a small amount.
Either they are to be mounted with the screws on a certain side, or they are not centered over the barrel.

It's because we do flat rate across the board- gets you 2nd day FedEx. If you email us we can ship it snail mail but we've only had the worst of luck across the years with USPS

Are you saying that looking from above, the scope is not centered over the barrel?

the photo shows if you mount the rings with the base screws on opposite sides of each other, they are offset, or not centered to each other.
If the dovetail on the action is centered to the barrel, then the scope will be mounted either to the left, or the right of the barrel. (Yes, I know its minimal)
If it isn’t, then which way am I supposed to mount the rings? Screws left or right?
Once I saw it, I can’t unsee it.

Just got another Tikka and want to know what to expect on my next order.
