UM Tikka bolt handles

The knock on the Rokstok these handles provide bothered me at first but I'm over it. I don't notice it anymore.

It's way better than the factory knob. Not that the factory knob is bad tho.

Does anyone notice accidental bolt lift with these UM Tikka bolt handles? I purchased a Sterk last year and have experienced (some) issues with the bolt lifting.

Do you mean the handles? Handles pull up as $46 but still have to buy the ball at $60. Not quite enough to sway me

I think you are correct, the wording on their site is confusing saying "with 1 inch ball.". At $106 total I will be living with the factory knobs/handle.

That is specifically what it was designed to stop. It is still possible of course, but is way less likely.

Ordered up a set of the "short ball" to see how it feels. I figure if I don't like it, should be able to get rid of it easy on RS.

This happens with my desert tech SRS A2 that comes factory with a big ball on the bolt. It gets pushed just slightly out of battery which drops the hammer on dead space in chamber but with tikka the bolt stays closed when the safety is on so I carry that way with empty chamber and mag in.

Nearly all aftermarket bolt knobs and handles cause more issues than they solve. The UM knob is unique and functions better than factory on 6 guns so far for me personally.

Picked up another one of these (short standard handle and ball) for a different tikka. It really made running the bolt smoother and easier and I liked the factory handle. They arent cheap but worth it to me to upgrade the handles over time.

Looking for something longer in my chassis comp gun. Really like the straight handle and the ball on the short.

It changed. I ordered 2 a few days ago at $70 total for each. Back when I posted the ball alone was listed for $60.

I think Mystical Mermaid Magic holds particularly well, but I hear @mxgsfmdpx goes for Coral Reef.

I highly recommend polishing your balls. They’ll handle rigorous cycling without an unexpected release.
