Has the actual dimensions of the lightest contour been posted somewhere? Would like a sense check before I reprofile a barrel.

The Warwick right side charging I got weighs 9,9 oz also I would like to ask what is the lightest barrel nut
The barrel nut NFA uses on their short handguards is probably the lightest barrel nut made. 0.6oz. This is what I used for my "Little Big Gun's" handguard which is 1.9oz at 9". They are now knurled, instead of the linear grooves.

I was able to order several as barrel nuts only. Need a few more now.

They're not drilled and tapped for screws, so easiest to use with some kind of clamp over a CF tube. I used/use modified CF seatpost clamps from ebay that weigh about 6 grams for that part.

I know cutting weight in optics isn't the place for most people, especially west of the Mississippi river, but I can use 1x power for most of my hunting.

I used a GLX 1x last year, which was 9.5 oz with low mount, a neoprene cover, sun shade, and spare battery.

This year I am going to use a Holosun SCRD with low mount, which is 4 oz with the rubber lens covers. Saving 5.5 oz is significant for me at this point so I'm happy.

I'm just curious if any of you smart gram counting folks know if it's possible to remove the steel recoil lug from a kimber 84m (I'm assuming the barrel would have to come off first). Has anyone ever tried having a titanium lug made for it to shave a few more grams?
