Yeah the look suspiciously similar. How do you like it?

Oh I don’t have it I’ve just seen it and found that pic and thought it was crazy how small it is. I’m a big fan of the Athlon ares 65mm. Thing is pretty small for a 65

I already carry 12 binos on my chest and just think getting 15s or 18s are to similar and would rather get a really lightweight spotter. Maybe I’m wrong?

I have a Kowa 553. Optics are very good. It's a great lightweight scope. (you can save even more weight by pairing it with an ultralight tripod.)

I picked up the Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60 HD. It’s lightweight/compact and seems to fit the bill for me.

Curious if anyone as compared the Kowa to the razor? Is Kowa worth the price tag?
Yup. Check here.

Wasn’t worth it for me. ATC was best.

I kept the mini razor. Plenty good for my purposes and size/weight/cost for the win.

Minox makes a 50mm. You can pick them up for around $150, maybe less. I bought one to try. I havent used it yet but plan to take it out scouting next week and try it out. Im not expecting much but for the size it may be worth having sometimes.
I have a Minox MD50 16-30x50 and it is just under 24oz. It is an exceptional value for the $100 I paid for it.

Last time I looked you could still get them new from Japan, but not here in the US. Which means you have to ship it back to Japan for any warranty work.
