Box muzzle velocity vs Garmin on the range …

Ok, when i shoot my 16-18” TIKKA hunting rifles at the range I expect velocities at 200-350 ft per sec lower than the factory box claimed fps. Imagine my surprise/consternation when the Garmin GPS showed actual muzzle velocities like this ?
2768 fps 5 shot avg on Garmin gps. 3350 fps at the muzzle on the box.

Every RA I’ve ever had has been slower when compared to anything else.

I would imagine your seeing a combo of this and 8”-10” less barrel than what the ammo was tested with.
