Ultralight Bipod - Arca Direct Fit

RIfle I just got came with the Arca - I have the Spartan setup but wondering if it would be worth the jump. What are you guys liking about the ARCA over the Spartan/Spigot?
Obviously, totally up to you.

I would, however, consider your wholistic glassing and shooting set up as a system.

By standardizing everything (spotters, binos, rangefinders, phone mounts) ARCA, it’s now very easy to switch from one tripod or bipod to the next as they all live within one system.

Absolutely.
I guess are folks seeing any advantage of the ARCA over other? THey have a Bino Mount now, I already have the Bipods, and it sounds like they may be working on another Optics mount.

But are folks fidning the Arca system more stable? I see potential issues trying to glass with a spotter on the spartan system unless they can tighten it up a tad.

Not trying to hijack a thread here.. Ok, maybe a little bit. We we just got these in and they are pretty sweet, much more stable than some of the other ultralight bipods, but also a bit pricy. Definitely check them out, and look for a full review once we get some trigger time with them. 8 oz and love the spring loaded legs.

Reach out if you have any questions about the Spartan system.

People generally choose between the Spartan Arca Platform, Rifle Adapter, and Spigot based on their balance of stability, weight, and versatility. While the Spartan Rifle Adapter is the lightest and most streamlined for traditional hunting, the Arca Platform offers superior stability and adjustment for precision shooting, and the Spigot provides a rock-solid, forward-mounted connection specifically for heavy-duty bipods like the Valhalla.

1. Spartan Arca Platform
People like this for its precision and adaptability.
  • Stability: Unlike the round profile of the standard rifle adapter, Arca rails provide a wide, flat platform that prevents the rifle from tilting or "rolling" as easily.
  • Adjustability: On a full-length Arca rail, you can slide the bipod forward for prone stability or backward toward the magazine well for a more balanced tripod shot.
  • Compatibility: It allows users with existing Arca-style tripod heads to use the Spartan MagnaSwitch™ system without changing their entire setup.
2. Spartan Rifle Adapter (Classic/Gunsmith)
This is the choice for those prioritizing weight savings and aesthetics.
  • Ultralight: These adapters are significantly lighter and less bulky than Arca rails, making them ideal for mountain hunting where every ounce counts.
  • Streamlined: The Gunsmith Adapter can be permanently installed into the stock for a near-flush finish that won't snag on brush or clothing.
  • Simplicity: It provides "80% of the stability" of an Arca system but in a much faster, lighter package.
3. Spartan Spigot (Valhalla System)
The Spigot is designed specifically for the Valhalla Bipod and users seeking maximum front-end stability.
  • Forward Mount: It pushes the bipod further forward on the rifle, which improves balance and provides better clearance for large magazines.
  • Rigid Connection: It uses a hardened stainless steel pin that drops directly into the bipod for a connection with "zero rattle or play."
  • Prone Performance: Users prefer it for dedicated prone shooting where they don't need to move the bipod frequently.

Do you or will you be able to supply the mounts separately? As in say I buy an ARCA and want to swap out to pic and vice versa? Cost for a separate mount?
I just placed an order for the mounts separately. Not sure when i will have them in, but we're looking at $99 each.
