Just sharing my CVA Wolf that I use for backcountry elk in Idaho. The mods/adds are twice the price I paid for the Wolf, but I just couldn't resist. Folded length is <30" making it awesome for brush busting the overgrown trails we ride to get to our spots. I'll include as much info as I can in the comments to get ahead of some of the questions, but feel free to ask anything. Let me know what you think.

Uglier than hell - but I like it! lol. What’s the total weight?
Aesthetics never even crossed my mind. Haha. Just checked the weight and it's 7.2# Damn. That takes it out of the "ultimate backcountry ML" class for me. It's working fine and is comfortable to shoot at this weight though. I might play around with different stocks. I think I can cut almost 2 #s if I want to, but it might thump pretty hard.

Thanks for sharing. Always good to see other projects.

What is the purpose/benefit of the folding stock? Compactness for packing?

Nice and compact though. Yes, I like something closer to 6lbs for backcountry. I’ve got two muzzys that are right at 6 lbs - a carbon fiber barreled White and a TC X7. Great choices on the sights!

Yes, especially on the dirt bike. Folding down shorter than the width of my handlebars is a nice advantage, especially on the brushed in trails I ride.
