I might go with one of the ribpeeps from e arthur brown for my impact, or just stick with the fibers that came on it.
The Eabco Peeprib or Williams Ace in the Hole rail is definitely the way to go. I have a couple. They allow you to use a scope to do load development and then easily remove where required to use open sights (like Colorado). A Williams Western Precision front fiber optic is a big improvement over any factory front sight too.
 
I love my CVA wolf. There are a few different models of the CVA but the one I have is extremely light and the barrel is a bit shorter. It makes it extremely easy to handle and great for quick off hand shooting if necessary. I don't think you mentioned how old your daughter is but if she is younger or smaller that might be something to consider.
