The Eabco Peeprib or Williams Ace in the Hole rail is definitely the way to go. I have a couple. They allow you to use a scope to do load development and then easily remove where required to use open sights (like Colorado). A Williams Western Precision front fiber optic is a big improvement over any factory front sight too.I might go with one of the ribpeeps from e arthur brown for my impact, or just stick with the fibers that came on it.
