Now that I got.my tent. Looking at footprint options. Worth it to get the actual footprint or just grab some light weight tarp/waterstyle barrier for it.

Grabbed a ul2 mtn glow. Lights are kinda cheesy but still nice.

Tyvek is cheap and tougher than the reg footprint. Buy it on Ebay by the foot with guy tabs. I personally wash mine without soap in the laundry a couple of times to soften them up.

How is it as far as noise after you wash it? I've got access to a grommet tool, and was going to make it so I could use it with just the fly as well

It softens up and gets some quieter. Just wad it up and wash it without soap. They have tabs with grommits in them that peel and stick on where needed.

Type in "tyvek ground cloth" on Amazon. There is all different sizes that can be cut to size.

They’re pretty tuff, never had any probs with mine in the years Ive had it.
