I agree but man I’m afraid I’m going to shred them doing anything more than hunting from treestand.

Have you had any durability issues?
I've been amazed how durable the Tiburons have been, considering how light they are. I've hiked through a lot of 95-105 degree days in burned out areas pulling at them and have had no rips or tears to speak of.

For ultra hot environments I haven't found a cooler pant. That said, that awesome breathability comes at a cost if any real chance of cooler temps or wind, as it'll blow straight through them.

Early season choice if regularly running 80+ degrees I'd choose the Tiburons, else the Kutana can run much later in the season for me. Very curious on the DH lites as I run very hot when moving.

Late season choice for versatility would be the attacks if I had to choose just 1. Talus hybrid has been good for very cold and snowy but the waterproof lower legs and seat do make them less breathable for me, so limits use to quite cold and windy conditions for me personally.

Kings ridge pant and kings lone peak pant. Done and done. Preacher pant could take the lone peaks place but the lone peaks are my favorite late season pant I’ve ever had. The ridge pants are awesome all around pants imo. They have pretty much all the same features as most of the other pants mentioned (hip vents, knee pads, stretch material ect). Definitely worth taking a look into. I like that they have short and tall sizes. I’ve avoided most of the other pants mentioned because they all seem to think no matter what waist size you have your six feet tall! I personally am not paying one to two hundred plus on cloths I have to then get tailored

My dad ran a pressure treating plant for about 25 years, shipped a lot of lumber to Haywood Builders in Waynesville.

I wish Kuiu had more pants with multiple inseam lengths - only the Attacks come in 3 different lengths.

Prana Zion's are really comfy and the stretch is crazy, but they hug my thighs like a scared koala....and I don't even have big thighs.

The EB Guides are even worse leg constrictors. If Prana and EB fixed that, I'd wear their pants all the time.

Sounds like you got the prana straight fit instead of regular stretch. It will say it on the label

Didn't read every post, but scrolling through didn't see any mention of KUHL Renegade pants for early season. They are mountaineering pants, have side vents, good pocket locations, DWR treated, and are insanely comfortable and quiet. Have multiple khaki/flat brown colors.

Like running the KUIU Guides late season.

I checked all of the labels on my Prana's and don't see anything specifying the fit. They are model: m4st32116 which seem to be straight leg, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't have the Renegades, but I have a pair of Revolvr pants and agree Kuhl makes a more comfortable pant because the leg isn't so snug. I just ordered (2) pair of Radikl pants (37% off at backcountry).

I know this is supposed to be “2 pants”, but I’m gonna say 3 for the ideal setup. I hunt mostly in central Idaho.

Early: Prana Stretch Zion

Mid: KUIU Attack (with good rain gear, gaiters, long johns, and puffy pants, I could use these pretty much year round)

Late: KUIU Axis Hybrid
