I know it varies based on location and blah, blah, blah. LOL.

Looking for new Turkey gear and I'm between Sitka Cover and Kuiu Verde.

98% of the time, I will be hunting Eastern's in the Midwest.

I just got back into Turkey hunting this year and after momma was able to get her first Turkey this past Sunday (with me right over her shoulder talking her through it), I'm hooked once again (more so than Whitetail or Waterfowl). I use to run all Mossy Oak Obsession and I still think that is the greatest spring Turkey pattern ever. But, you know, Sitka and Kuiu. LOL.

I'm B*&)s deep into Sitka for Whitetail and Waterfowl. Way too deep! And I do like their gear. Yet, I have an itch to try some Kuiu (I already have 4 pairs of Kutana Pants, Wingshooting Shirt, Snap Jacket, flannels and other casual wear. Which has become my favorite everyday wear).

Where and with the way we like to hunt, I think Sitka Cover may blend in a bit better than the Verde (base of trees, in the shadows, spring green up). I also think the Sitka may be more durable (buck thorn, blackberry, etc.) However, I think the Kuiu may layer better.

What say y'all!?!?!?!?

I really am torn between the two.

My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter.

Between the two, I think verde is the better pattern for breaking up your outline.

I would say durability is based on the particular garment and not the brand as a whole.

Not sure it matters. Got mine on Sunday wearing brown pants and a green shirt. No face mask or gloves and a black hat. Dug my call out of the center council from last year and about 15 min later, bang flop. Dang fun.

You’re overthinking it. It’s turkey hunting. Go have fun.

My turkey stuff doesn’t even match. Pants don’t matter at all if you have a good setup…movement will kill you quicker than any camo

Ariat work pants with a $60 Red Rock Outdoors ghillie suit (use the top only. with a hooded sweatshirt under works fine for me. finish it off with a set of scheels branded thin gloves and a random earth tone baseball cap. I'd save the cool guy camo money and buy something useful.

Pretty much how I roll too. Except I use the first lite leafy top. Solid pants, maybe a camo shirt, mismatched hat, random buff facemask.

Last year I was wearing a green sun shirt and people acted like it was nuts that I called in a bird without full camo.
