I picked up a used carbon spyder, I am new to tuning my own bows. I leveled the arrow and nock point and than I shot it through paper, I had a terrible left tear. After I adjusted the rest to the right I was able to get it to shoot a bullet hole, however the rest is very close to the riser. I than went outside to sight it in and it is shooting right and if I move the sight over anymore it will be right on the riser as well..
Is there a way to put the rest back in the center and adjust for a left tear with the yoke system?? I called hoyt and they wouldn't tell me how because I am not a dealer or authorized bow tech. I am doing this to learn how to take care of my own stuff.
any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance
