You made the statement multiple times now that there needs to be restrictions on weapons for warfare. It's your damn argument. Define a weapon of warfare.
Are you suggesting AR-15's and Colt 1911's were first designed for the civilian market? LOL We all know better. That's why I said "please." We can't have an honest discussion if we refuse to acknowledge the facts.

Care to pull up our rates of gun murder during the exact same years? If we’re going to use those examples they should be juxtaposed.
Those are just mass shootings.

Just a quick pull up with population numbers

US(population-320 million)
2015-46 killed in mass shooting

France(66million)
2015-14 killed

Serbia 9 million
2013-14

Norway population 5 million
2011 69 dead

The last clown that sat in the White House wanted to implement more gun control laws too. He said so very publicly while in office.

Closing loopholes on obvious circumventions of standing law might qualify as "more gun control laws," but so what? You can't possibly be comparing President Trump to President Biden on gun control philosophy.

Was the musket invited for the civilian market? Was Gun powder invited for civilian market.. lol..

2nd isnt about military market, it’s about protection from government, and protect the constitution from totalitarian governments and the resulting loss of freedoms

Yeah… must be the gays. Lucky for the other first world countries they don’t have gays and they are so much more morally stable.

You are refusing to discuss things that might be causal. What you call moral decline isn’t something new. Spartan warriors had regular gay stuff going on. It’s not something new. I acknowledge that our rate of gun violence is a relatively new thing. What has changed that could actually be related?
How did that work out for the Spartans long term? I am not anti gay just struggle with a month celebration, I support your right to be homosexual. Read between the lines in my comment our society has and is breaking down was my point. Every house in my neighborhood had lots of guns and no one was shot. These things have been increasing and little has been done to deal with mental health or even addressed why these are happening. There are already so many laws broken when these happen, start enforcing the ones we have.

I own an M1 Garand. John Garand designed that weapon specifically for war.

I own several AR-15 rifles. Eugene Stoner designed that weapon specifically for war.

I don’t own any Kalashnikov variants because I don’t personally care for them but some of you likely do. Mikhail Kalashnikov designed that weapon specifically for war.

Let’s not argue about that. It would be pointless.

870's and flintlocks have been used in warfare also. Draw the line and define a weapon of warfare. Is it a caliber, is it a style, does it just need to go bang? Again it's your argument so define it.

One difference might be that Trump was pretty cool with just taking guns and sorting out the paperwork after the fact.

We can't have an honest discussion if you're not going to use real data.

46 killed in mass shootings in 2015? Try again.

What makes you so sure about that? Ever traveled to Belgium? Denmark? Germany? Sweden? Holland? Canada? I have and all I've met are the happiest people on earth who work fewer hours than we do, have less crime and better health care.
I have travelled in all those countries extensively, and more.

Lived in Europe for 9 years.

Couldn’t disagree with you more.
1. Their healthcare system isn’t better ( well, at least until Obamacare rolled out)
A. Rationing
B. Waiting period
C. Cost (they’re taxes are extremely high (so much so that they have huge black market of goods and services just to avoid taxes)

2. I’ve met some of the most depressing people there

3. Crime is high…very high. My daughter lived in Germany for nearly 6 years as an adult; sky rocketing crime

4. No go zones

I was always relieved when we PCS’d back to States.

I've said here before the solution will have to be multi-faceted and making it harder for people to get their hands on weapons designed for warfare is just part of the solution.
Go back to the pre-90's, when we had access to "weapons designed for warfare", and even took guns to school leaving them hanging on the gun rack over the back window.......even when we weren't even 18 years old. Amazingly no one was ever shot with them. How is that even possible IF the weapons themselves, or the access to them, is "the problem"? Hmmmm perhaps.......just perhaps......that "might" not be the ACTUAL problem. 99%+ of every American living in America isn't and hasn't run out and shot up a school, a hospital, a church, a shopping mall, etc, etc. IF the weapons or access to them is the problem, then why is it that 99%+ of American's guns don't have that problem? Why?

Geee......it's pretty clear from a logical, reasonable, and even obvious sense that the weapons nor the access to them is the problem. Even an unreasonable person can know and understand that. Anything other than that........is just an agenda.

civilians had muskets before the American military was created. Wrong argument

There is not a firearm made that I am aware of that couldnt be considered a weapon of warfare. Weapon of warfare would also roll up knives, bow, spear, and freakin rocks as far as that goes. They have all been used in warfare. I am simply asking him to define his argument.

I highly question anyone who says they have talked to people in other countries and are 'as happy as can be'.........there is a reason YOU choose to live in the US....that argument is beyond pathetic.
