Yeah that’s hot for sure. Some barrels are just faster than others and handle pressure better.

I just rebarreled a .260 Rem. Old barrel was fickle and hit pressure seemingly early. New barrel with same brass, powder, primer and bullet is eating 1.5 gr more powder, is 125fps faster, and with zero signs of pressure.

I wouldn’t believe it had I not run at least 100 rounds through my chrono. I consider a chronograph standard equipment for any shooter, especially a Reloader. I rarely target shoot without mine deployed. The info gleaned is always useful and sometimes surprising.
