I'd like to learn more about bed drawers; experiences, dos/don'ts, etc., and brands. I know there's Decked, Frontrunner, and Truckvault, but there's probably more.

I'd also be interested to see your diy stuff and understand that cost.


The bin against the cab is permanent truck stuff like recovery and a lot of tools. I think I'd use drawers for needed quick access hunt stuff, some of this tools, maybe the bow of it would fit, and other random things...

I was about to buy a decked unit new, but kept scouring Facebook and Craigslist, and some of the custom built stuff looked like it could cover my battery obstruction if I got creative. I ended up buying a truck vault for a Tacoma with the idea I can put bins behind it
One bin sold hold the battery stuff, and the other for rarely needed emergency stuff like a tox strap and what not. I figure I can cut some drawers and bins for the side as well.

I positioned it to fit the plano tote width in the back and will get another one, and left space for my step bench at the tailgate.

I'm very happy and excited.
