I assume based on this thread you went with TRT instead of thyroid meds. How long ago did you start? Curious bc I'm in roughly the same boat. Always freezing, thyroid #'s on the lower end of ok. Started TRT in Feb..being cold has maybe gotten better but idk.

I did not start the trt yet. My doctor said we could try either thyroid or trt. I joined this thread long ago to see if guys were seeing any relief from the feeling cold. I had explained my numbers and situation and several guys offered advice. I had long suspected that my thyroid was a source of the issue, but my numbers were not bad. I have been on the thyroid meds for 5 days now and the results are astonishing.

Good to know, thank you. I'm about due for another round of bloodwork. If my thyroid numbers aren't any better I'm gonna push for that.

My T3 was 111 (76-181 is normal)

My T4 was 7.9 (4.9-10.5)

T3, free was 3.1 (2.3-4.2)

TSH 3.06 (.40-4.5)

T4 FREE 1.2 (.8-1.8)

Nothing out of range.....but I feel completely warmer now.
