TRT

As long as you do the same in all aspects of your health. You get cancer don’t take chemo. Just change you diet. You get a bad infection don’t take an antibiotic. Just sleep better.

Yes people need to practice preventive health and take care of themselves. But that won’t prevent you from getting poor health outcomes sometimes that require medical intervention.

Remember, none of us are getting out of this alive.

In a way I feel like that's comparing Apples to Oranges. I don't know enough about TRT to make any educated opinions and I hope after long-term use and research it proves to be a part of healthcare that is very benefical but as of now I feel like its in a certain classification that is more of in that WANT vs NEED and the way they market and advertise it would make me skeptical. The latest marketing is like its the Fountain of Youth but yet you also need to sign up ASAP the first 20 people in the door get a discount for life!

I hear you and was obviously being tongue in cheek on previous post.

My feeling is much of the hypogonadism today is from forever chemicals in our food and water. Hopefully this will improve as more is known and prevented from entering our food and water supplies. Most of this happens on a scale larger than the individual.

Maybe you’re just not meant to have normal testosterone. Or you are doing something wrong. It’s a good indicator when 80 year old men have higher testosterone than a man half his age. Good luck
I think the answer is much more complicated than how you have simplified it. I do agree with you lifestyle has a HUGE effect on hormone levels. But the trend over the last 15 years has been scary to see the drop in test not only from a "normal" age from where it should lower, but in men that are in their 30s.

My situation was caused by radiation from cancer treatment. Definitely not the normal situation. I suspect it was low prior to that. But i'll never know. And I live a healthy lifestyle with diet and exercise. At the time, i was doing shift work, which also has shown to contribute to low T. But everyone is different. Keep that in mind. What works in one body does not always work the exact same way in another.

Telling everyone to not take chemo is totally irresponsible. There are cases where it is the only option. And I ran health food stores for some time and am very well aware of natural alternatives and the dangers of chemo. Let me tell you, it sucked. Really bad. But you're casting a large wand over a subject that is not a black and white issue with a black and white solution.

I wish I didn't have to take chemo. I have long lasting effects from it. But I was 37 at the time and the chances of chemo coming back without the chemo was %80.

I was telling people to take chemo. It was in response to people saying not to take trt and just eat healthier and sleep more.

Living healthy is important. But all of us will need medical intervention at some point and should follow their doctors advice.

I see the post a few down from the one I quoted where you say tongue and cheek...

I now digress and will come off my rant and offer a free beverage of your choice if we ever cross paths.

no worries my friend. I’m an advocate for following your doctors advice. Sorry about your cancer. Hope you continue to stay well.

This is due to lack of exercise and unhealthy food.... More computer and non labor jobs and fast food
