I'm hoping to get some input on why I might be consistently missing left on downhill shots despite being dead on when shooting level AND uphill shots. I consistently hit 4-5 inches left at 50+ yards and it does gradually worsen with distance. I first thought it was a third axis issue but I don't believe that would be the case since I'm consistently hitting center on uphill shots? I've videoed my shots and been mindful of my grip but can't identify anything specific I'm doing that could be causing it.

Not sure if this would contribute to a miss left, but are you remembering to bend at the waist and not lower your bow arm either at or after the shot?

If you are right handed, you are putting more pressure into the grip. What type of release are you using?

Yes, I typically bend at the waist but experimented yesterday based on some George Ryals videos on shooting downhill. With the more open stance that might have brought my shots back toward the center by an inch but arrows were still right on top of each other a few inches left.

Draw length can change when shooting up and down at decent angles. It can be fixed by adjusting your stance by opening or closing your stance.

Down hill, close stance slightly,

Up hill, the opposite.

But I doubt it's a 6" difference. I would suspect another issue in form. Or a combination.

Other things that can left misses for right hand shooters is facial pressure.

Quick test would be to change face pressure (go light like barely touching face/nose) and see how far it moves left/right. If that checks out then you just have to mess around with your stance/body to get as close to normal as possible.
