I'm looking for set up to put my binos on. I have a pair of 2012 Leopold Acadia 8x42 and want to put them on a tripod. I'm looking for a way to mount them without having to buy a new set up. I'm not in a spot to spend alot of money just want to get them on a tripod. Let me know if there is anything out there to make this happen. Thanks in advance

I don't believe so, it just has the round adjustment knob

Looks like it's taped for 1/4 20 so any thread in adaptor will work. I prefer the field optics one

Punch in "binocular tripod adapter" on amazon, ebay, google, etc and there are hundreds of them to choose from. I've used a couple cheap ones and they all worked just fine!

Personally, I prefer the flat knob like the one below, which allows me to get it a little tighter with my fingers..

Amazon.com : Celestron 93524 Binocular Tripod Adapter (Black) : Camera & Photo

Do you need a tripod as well? I have a couple suggestions for cheap ones as well...

I don't have a tripod so I'm proly just going to get the leupold set up

Yep, that will work just fine to connect your binos to the tripod.

As far as tripods go, I bought this one earlier this year and I really like it.

Amazon.com : Dolica AX620B100 62-Inch Proline Tripod and Ball Head : Camera & Photo

A friend of mine uses this one and likes it, but I didnt want a 3-way panhead.

Amazon.com : Slik Compact Alloy Travel Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head : Aluminum Tripod : Camera & Photo

What's the difference in the pan heads? I'm not going to be doing any filming this will be strictly for glassing.
