Tripod for Vortex Viper 10 x 42?

I'm going to archery hunt unit 47 in Colorado this year for elk I have a setof Vortex Viper 10 x 42 Hd binoculars for the trip. My question is: Would you guys bother carrying a light weight tripod for these 10 x 42's or in this unit at all? Just wondering if it is worth it to have tripod on a set of bino's this small or if there would be glassing opportunities in this unit at all?

Can’t help with unit info but I never leave my tripod at home. I use it on my tiny 10x30 swaros. The extra detail I can pick up is worth the weight penalty

I have those exact binos and I always throw them on a tripod. You'll be amazed at how much more you'll pick up. I use the Vortex Summit SS-P tripod with the vortex bino adapter and couldn't be happier. Not too expensive either. Hope this helps.

With glassing, as well as photography, a tripod will always improve your results
