Why not just build a shelf under the window openings and use sandbags? My son uses the bog pod clamp on a lightweight tripod. I’m switching our guns to arca. We deer hunt out of permanent blinds and the tripods take up a lot of space. Has anyone tried using a window clamp instead of a tripod in a blind? The clamp should fit the framing around the windows. We hunt big ag fields and you never know which direction the deer will appear. It’s a cluster moving the tripod for him while still being quiet.
We were within 20 yards of one of our stands this morning so I climbed up and took a picture of how I built the rail on this one:My son uses the bog pod clamp on a lightweight tripod. That’s a nice setup. Thanks for sharing. I ordered a couple new shooting bags a couple weeks ago. I’ll give them a try. Do you just leave the bag in the blind throughout the season? We were within 20 yards of one of our stands this morning so I climbed up and took a picture of how I built the rail on this one:

In that particular one, yes. The windows seal well enough to keep most varmints out and with everything bug-sprayed before summer, there's no real reason for mice to be in there. And when the weather is decent I will actually let the kids practice .22lr from that particular stand in the off season. We have other stands I don't shoot from during the off season, and other stands that I try not to leave stuff in over the summer, because of mice. But if the stand is halfway decently sealed up to where mice and bugs aren't an issue, you're fine to leave sandbags in them. Just don't leave food. If mice smell food they'll find a way in, and then they'll destroy stuff that might otherwise be OK.That’s a nice setup. Thanks for sharing. I ordered a couple new shooting bags a couple weeks ago.
