Trijicon wire vs. etched reticle durability

This has been mentioned sporadically in passing but wanted to ask in a clear(er) manner. I know it’s generally believed that etched reticles are more durable, but is that still the case in 2025? Trijicon indicated they’re equally durable but wanted to see if that translated to the field.

I ask because it appears some of the Trijicon Tenmile scopes (4-24 and 6-24) have wire reticles, as does the accupoint lineup - which I understand is assembled in the US not Japan and is a completely different animal - and I believe the Huron/Ascent as well.

I understand etched reticle tenmiles and credos have passed the drop eval, as did a Huron. But anyone dropped a 6-24 or 4-24 tenmile? Any reason to believe they’re less durable than the other tenmile/credos? I know high mag SFP scopes are a no - no on this site but am curious about durability nonetheless.

Appreciate any insight.
