I have this scope. I won't say impossible, but you'd have to work pretty hard to to accidentally spin the wind turret if you left the cap off. Like @Hnthrdr said: the elevation current is exposed, but has a zero stop. I wouldn't hesitate for a second at full price if you like the scope. That's price is a steal. For those with this scope or similar Trijicon with capped turrets, how are the turrets if you take the caps off and just leave them exposed? I would want to dial it occasionally
The one on sale has a capped elevation unfortunatelyI have this scope. I won't say impossible, but you'd have to work pretty hard to to accidentally spin the wind turret if you left the cap off. I missed that. Sorry. The one on sale has a capped elevation unfortunately
Is the turret sealed / water tight without the cap on?I have this scope. I won't say impossible, but you'd have to work pretty hard to to accidentally spin the wind turret if you left the cap off. No zero stop on this model unfortunatelyI missed that. Sorry.
It looks like it still has a zero stop on it, so I think it still wouldn't give me too much pause. The turret clicks seems to take a little more oomph than other scopes; probably good in this case to prevent accidental shifts or bumps.
It looks like it lists it as having it (unless misprinted?):No zero stop on this model unfortunately

That I don't know. You might call Trijicon and ask. I'd imagine it's a sealed system or they'd have a world of complaints with water getting in...but don't take my word for it!
