Looking for help on fixing the extremely long travel in the trigger on my tristar raptor. Won the gun at the nwtf dinner, figured i might as well use it. Thank you.

I have a Tristar Viper G2 Turkey that has a horrendous trigger. The travel in the trigger is a road trip with 4 toddlers. I assume our triggers are similar. From what I read, you can play with springs but getting it worked on by a smith is best. My googling has led me to Precision Sports and I will likely send it off after this turkey season. Until then, I will continue to yank that trigger.

Lol thanks man. My dad has a viper and the trigger is night and day to the raptor. Im trying to just gain muscle memory to bring my finger close to the breaking point and then just yank it lol

So i have found the trigger upgrade! I took the trigger assembly out and simply dremeled down the trigger sear. Less material to travel across = faster trigger. This trigger is now better than my beretta. Super easy, only took 15 minutes.
