Trejicon scopes?

What would your guys recommendation be for shooting out to 700-800 yards using a trejicon scope? Unfortunately I can’t have a scope that uses batteries which seems to rule out a lot of their scopes, maybe the accupoint 4x16x50? My budget is in the 850 range. Thanks!

If you don't use the illumination feature, the reticle is just black. You can still use them, just don't put a battery in it.

Trijicon accupoint is a dang good choice for the $.
I sometimes use a 2.5-10x56 with amber dot and have 2 other rifles with the same scope that my brother and a now grown former "borrowed hunting midget" use as their only rigs. No complaints, but we don't shoot over 400 yards.
They aren't Leica Magnus glass, but they aren't $3k either.

Since as you said this really narrows your options, what is the reasoning for this? If its a regulation for hunting where are you located? Curious because I was not aware of anywhere that has that stipulation on a lighted reticle, only on “projected onto the target” sights like a laser sight, so Id be interested in the details.

Accupoint has illumination , without a battery , it works great . I have the 3x18x50 and it's a nice scope in my opinion . Plus , the warranty dept is top notch .

Customer service is great.
My dumbass swapped mounts to 30mm and it didn't occur to me years ago that the mounts could be off so far that my new Accupoint windage wouldn't zero.
I complained and they sent a new scope within a week. No questions asked.
Same issue. Swapped the mounts and all good.
I ate crow, apologized and thanked Trijicon Customer service.
Offered to reimburse shipping cost for the 2nd scope and they refused.
I promptly bought 2 more scopes from them.

Is it long range capable? I am looking to get an upgrade on my 1000 dollar vortex that the zero is constantly being screwed up on

I'm not sure what you mean by "long range capable".........it holds zero but I've never tried it for long range shooting as it's just not a fit for my type of hunting.

Using the Trijicon Accupoint TR23 in 5-20x50 on my Cooper 6.5x55 rifle; I harvest both of these free ranging Axis bucks. One was a 311 yard uphill neck shot (because that is the only shot he gave me looking back) and the other was a 287 yard high shoulder shot. Both DRT. The scope held my 200 yard zero perfect and the BDC type reticle worked great for shooting beyond my 200 yard zero. First dot below cross hairs was perfect for 300 yard zero on my gun. The scope bounced around in the sidexside gun rack and on a 4 wheeler gun rack across some pretty rough terrain without losing zero. I'm buying another TR23 for a 6.5PRC that I just picked up. I've also owned Nikons, Vortex, and have a safe full of Leupolds. So far, the Trijicon is my favorite.

I use the Trijicon ten mile 3-18 x 44 FFP MRAD
Excellent optic, not in the $850 range but worth every penny.
