I can only speak from my previous career path. The travel part wasn’t worth missing birthdays, anniversaries, sports, etc. However, I do get to watch my oldest go to college debt free all the way through doctorate. It’s a give and take, and at least he understands the sacrifices that were made. However, it did cost me a better relationship with my youngest. Time will tell if it can be recovered. If you’re good where you’re at, I’d stay there.
