As far as I can see trapping is a dying tradition and it's really helped me stay in the woods longer throughout the year as well as aided in a sort of year round scouting. Let's keep the tradition alive and running by sharing our yearly successes! Here are some of my favorite catches from past years. Feel free to share yours and where you were successful!

Nice pictures! Sadly you are correct, it is a dying tradition. Use to trap when I was younger and actually ran a pretty large line. Sure do miss those days.

I've never done it but I've seen a handful of videos of it being done by two guys and a choke pole.

I enlisted a couple of my nephews and my two sons. We used two choke poles, it was pretty wild. My nephew caught two this year as well. We went 30 + years without ever catching one and this year we ended up with 3.

Double on Vermont coyotes, and my first Idaho coyote. Once I get my self more settled I plan on doing a lot more trapping.

Thank you. I hope they love it as much as I do. I love taking them with me. We picked up another coyote in a fence snare this weekend. Its gotten too hot here for saving snared coyotes fur but they need to be removed anyways.

Coyote trapping is about the only thing I enjoy as much as hunting.
