Trapping catches

Couple pictures from a few years ago. New kids and building a house stopped me the past two seasons.

I seen a larger than normal melanistic bobcat in FL. We were duck hunting and knocked one down, was heading over to pick it up and there is black bob at about 60 yards - could see his spots too. Very neat to see, he was getting the duck and we let him have it.
I’ve seen photos of several black bobcats from Florida. I know they’re not common anywhere but it seems like more are seen (or maybe just photographed) in Florida than anywhere else.

Im not sure about the darker ones but have seen more bobcats in FL and GA than anywhere else. Also see a lot of otters but less beavers.

Father in law and I set a few beaver sets this year and finally hooked up on a magnum after several tripped snares. Hoping to catch a couple more from this location.
