Tourist Trip of a lifetime / Sitka factory shop Bozeman

Thanks all, managed to spot 2x black bear, a cinnamon black bear and 2 cubs , coyote, all the usual bison so a nice day out.

Thanks, got Meateater on the list. Are there any shops in Bozeman that sell reloading supplies after some 130gr ttsx for my 308 or should I wait until cabelas in denver?

UK just announced a ban on lead for hunting so will grab some extra whilst here as no doubt be a run on stocks at home
Denver stores will add about a 10% sales tax. No sales tax in Montna... Murdochs in Bozeman or Scheels and Bass Pro in Billings all have reloading supplies.

You appear to be packing a lot into one trip, so you likely don’t need more things to add to your itinerary. If you get pushed for time and have to prioritize, I second the idea of cutting something out to give more time to the Cody museum.

There is an interesting museum in Dubois, Wyoming now: The National Museum of Military Vehicles. Many people who are not really military history types have still enjoyed it. Dubois appears to be a little off your planned route, but if you happen to drive through, take in the museum.

Fairy Lake is absolutely beautiful. It's not too far from Bozeman. I think we spent half the day. You can drive up and park close to the lake. I think it's at around 7,000ft. If you hike up to the top of Sacagawea peak, it's a breathtaking view. The hike isn't bad; you just can't breathe. My wife bailed about 3/4 of the way to the top. You have to scramble a little bit, and it freaked her out.
