Toronto Airport And Firearms

Hoping someone here can help me with the process of checking in a gun at the Toronto airport. We are leaving from Toronto this coming Friday and will have to check in our guns. Is there somewhere special we have to go to check in or just straight to Air Canada baggage check in counter?
