Before today I had never shot farther than 600 yards. But I finished load workup for a usable hunting load (H4350 under 130 CX at fps 2878 avg/18es/5.9sd; 300yd 10-shot group = 1.18 MOA) and a cheaper target and long-range hunting load (H4350 under 143 ELD-X at fps 2751 avg/23es/9.1sd).
I had 12 rounds of the 143eldx load left at the end of the day, so I used them to confirm zero, hit 600, and finally crack a grand:
-----100 yd: 0.54 MOA for 3 shots
-----600 yd: 0.68 MOA for 5 shots
--1,000 yd: 0.81 MOA for 4 shots (rings 9,X,10,10)
Rifle: Tikka T3x Lite with swapped barrel (.308 Win D16 profile switched to 6.5 Creedmoor D18 profile); barrel channel reamed for full clearance back to recoil lug; added a Victor cheek riser, vertical grip, and Backstop recoil pad.
Scope: Burris Signature 3-15x40 with Vortex level in Warne rings (lapped).
