Do you guys use any more judicious criteria for off road tires? I’ve got Michelin LTX tires.....

You lost me with "offroad tire" and Michelin LTX

Worst f'n tire I've ever had. Those tires will leave you stranded on wet grass

right now I'm running Firestone Destination X/T's and they're quiet. I haven't taken them off pavement yet other than zipping around the back of my garage but they seem fairly decent on aggressive tread

My rule is if I know I'm going to need to replace them at some point during the winter, I replace them in the fall & get it over with otherwise I run them and get my money out of them....tires have never been a factor as to whether or not I had a successful season.

Well, 99.9% of my driving has been highway, so that’s what I got last time. I’m looking at Coopers this time around.
